Anya Ilkys founded College Starpoint after spending 17 years working in admissions, financial aid, international student services, and enrollment management, where she learned the intricacies of college admissions and financial aid processes. She spent countless hours working with high school and college students at Northeastern University, Merrimack College, and a private college admissions practice, advising them and their parents on the best approaches in the college enrollment process. Anya provides families with meticulously planned strategies to unveil the best possible admission and financial outcomes. 

As a professional College Consultant and an active member of HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association) as well as NEACAC (New England Association of College Admission Counseling), Anya offers expert advice while creating authentic and meaningful relationships to best position her students for success. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Sociology, an MBA, a Master's Degree in Organizational Communication - all 3 from Northeastern University, and a Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from University of California, Irvine.

 Anya is fluent in Russian and English, and is happy to provide consultations in either language. She lives right outside of Boston with her husband, three young sons, and a dog.
